Allison Stokke and Alyce Caron

Allison Stokke, born in Newport Beach, California on 22 March 1989, is among America's most famous and wealthiest Pole Vaulters. An image of her in a track event for 17 year olds became viral in 2007 and made her an Olympic pole vaulter. Instagram and Twitter have become her biggest social media sites. Stokke is a well-known track and fields athlete, like Jessica Ennis Hill. The Los Angeles Times among others that Stokke was not seeking or advocate for the kind of publicity that she received. Brett Hutchins and David Rowe in Technology Power and Culture in the Network Society connected Stokke's case to that of American soccer athletes Alex Morgan and Hope Solo. Both were alleged to have been sexually assaulted and the public image of them was depicted in a way they claimed was devaluing their athletic achievements. Stokke was also the target of insulting social media remarks which the authors blamed this sexualization process entirely on the women. Some drew comparisons to Brandi Chastain's 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup celebrations wearing a sports bra where the sporting accomplishments of women were largely ignored by discussions over their appearance. A journalist on the internet took pictures of Stokke's athletic performance during the World Cup in New York, early in 2007. With Leather, an online sports publication with a lot of male readers, commented on Stokke's attractiveness in the month of May. The article was titled Pole Vaulting: Sexy and Barely Legal. Matt Ufford, the owner of the site which the photo was published on, had been threatened with legal action by the photographer in the event that the photo wasn't removed. However the article received lots of interest from other websites and also the photo. Stokke's images of pole vaulting were published on a tribute site. After the images became viral on social media platforms, online fan groups gained thousands of new fans. Alyce Caron..............Alyce Caron was born in Houston in the United States in February 1957. She was determined to complete her high school degree in Florida. In 1974, Alyce decided that she wanted to switch careers through an internship. Alyce is the proud daughter of an academic professor. Family members are supportive of her sister, who works as an academic at a university. Alyce and her family reside in Texas since her father is employed by the U.S. Army. Three years ago they celebrated their father's anniversary on his 92nd birthday. Alyce posted a photo of her daughter's beautiful face on the internet, in recognition of her father's contributions in and the U.S. Army. She also gives more attention to education and has been a star in the National merit scholarships offered by the University and was born on the 22nd of 2022.
