At the age of 19, she debuted her first single Here. It received lots of acclaim and was well received by both listeners and critics. It reached 19th place in both Billboard Hot 100 and the Canadian Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone called the song one of their Top Songs in the year 2015. It was the same time when she dropped Know It All. Scars to Your Beautiful One of her five original tracks included in the Billboard Charts which include Billboard Hot 100 in Canada, and Billboard 200 for Canadian Albums Charts. It was different due to the fact that many listeners were able to relate to the conversation she conducted with rapper Rap-Up on her journey to learn to love and accept herself. Cara's songs contain messages of love self-love, self-love and mental wellness. All of it is a result of her personal journey as she has been battling mental health issues and insomnia. Reuters reported that she called her album "half turbulent, and half finished". Therapy helped her grow and encourages other people to seek help if necessary. Alessia Cara, a Canadian musician born in Canada on the 11th of July 1996 to Italian parents of Italian descent. In 2010, her parents gave her a brand-new guitar which she utilized to further develop her passion for music. A few years later, at 13 years old, she began covering her favorite songs through YouTube one of the biggest media platforms in order to demonstrate to the world that she was talented and determination to develop into a singer.
