Adelaide Clemens

Brisbane in Australia is my birthplace and where I was I was raised. The daughter of an English father. Clemens began her career in Australian TV while still at high school. The actress starred in the role of Juliet on one episode of Blue Water High in 2006 and starred as Alison on the Pirate Islands: The Lost Treasure of Fiji children's television show in 2007. Clemens played Harper as Harper in Love My Way, a Showtime drama in the same year. In the same role, she was nominated to receive the Graham Kennedy Award at the Logie Awards 2008 for Most Outstanding New Talent. Clemens played the role as a character in Dream Life, a 2008 MTV Networks Australia drama film which featured Sigrid Thonton Xavier Sam Linda Cropper and Andrew McFarlane. She also had minor parts as a character in All Saints in 2009 and X-Men Origins Wolverine. Clemens was the main character in Jan Logan's Jewelery that same year. Clemens transferred to Los Angeles California the United States in the year 2009. Clemens was the character Xandrie in the film Wasted on the Young. Clemens appeared in Camilla Dickinson (2012) alongside Gregg Sulkin Cary Elwes Samantha Mathis. It was a dramatization of the novel by Madeleine L'Engle that had the same name. Clemens played Heather Mason as a teenager, as well as Samantha Mathis in Silent Hill: Revelation 3D. The horror film was based on the survival horror game Silent Hill 3 and was an sequel to the movie Silent Hill.That year Clemens also played the lead character as the suffragette's young Valentine Wannop in Parade's End an adaptation for television to Silent Hill, a Ford Madox Ford tetra-logy co-produced by HBO and BBC Two. Clemens played the role in 2012's movie The film No One Lives starring Luke Evans. She also appeared in 2013's film The Great Gatsby based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel by the same name. Catherine was the sister of Myrtle Wilson, played by Isla Fischer. Clemens is the lead character Tawney Talbot in 2013's Sundance Channel television miniseries Rectify created by Ray McKinnon. Natalie Dormer Stephen Graham Zachary Quinto will also star alongside Clemens in The Girl Who Invented Kissing.
