Brie Larson
Brianne Sidonie Desaulniers born on October 1, 1989, is an American actress. Her roles in comedy supporting roles as a teenager was her specialty, but she has since gone on to appear in major blockbusters as well as independent films. Larson has been awarded various accolades which include an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award and an Primetime Emmy Award. Time magazine named Larson as one of the top 100 people on the planet for the year 2019. Larson was admitted at age 6 to the American Conservatory Theater's training program. Her acting career began in 1998, when she appeared in a sketch comedy on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. She appeared as an actor in the sitcom Raising Dad and briefly dabbled with a career in music, releasing the album Finally out of P.E. in 2005. Larson had a role in comedy films Hoot (2006), Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (2010) and 21 Jump Street (2012). In 2009, Larson also appeared as a sardonic teenager named Tara in the television show United States of Tara (2009-2011). Larson continued to play supporting roles in The Spectacular Here (2013) and Trainwreck (2015). Larson was nominated for the Academy Award as Best Actress for her performance as a kidnapping victim in the drama Room (2015). Following the 2017 adventure film Kong. Skull Island, Larson was the debut big-budget release. In 2019, she appeared as Captain Marvel in Marvel Cinematic Universe.
